The Alberta-wide bottle drive on July 31, called the Alberta Day of Caring, helped raise over 3 million dollars to help evacuees from Jasper and communities in the Little Red River Cree Nation.

Thirty bottle depots across the city hosted a bottle drive to support the Calgary Food Bank on July 27 & 28. Calgarians turned their empty bottles and cans into food for those in need!

The new Drumheller Bottle Depot opened on June 3, 2024 after 10 years of planning, designing, and fundraising. Drumheller DARTS staff, board members, project partners, and the business community attended the ribbon-cutting event and official opening.
