Olds 50th Anniversary Showcases Vital Community Programs

The Olds Bottle Depot celebrated its 50th anniversary with an open house on September 7. Since 1987, Accredited Supports to the Community (ASC), the organization behind the depot, has directed all profits to fund vital services for local residents.

The event showcased ASC’s impactful programs, such as ‘group respite,’ which helps children build friendships and social skills, and ‘group matters,’ which offers adults access to the community and life skills development. For decades, ASC has been committed to supporting individuals of all ages in rural areas.

More than just a recycling center, the Olds Bottle Depot is a true community partner in building a sustainable future!
