Alberta Bottle Drive Raises over $3M for Jasper and Little Red River Cree Nation!

The Alberta Day of Caring Bottle Drive raised nearly 3 million dollars for Jasper evacuees and communities in the Little Red River Cree Nation.

Radio stations united to create a province-wide bottle drive on July 31, called the Alberta Day of Caring, to help evacuees from Jasper and communities in the Little Red River Cree Nation. Both the provincial and federal governments matched all bottle drive donations, so each $1 turned into $3! Total contributions amounted to $3,305,096, thanks to the participation of Albertans across the province (with container donations making up $1,191,839 of the total).

All contributions will help the Canadian Red Cross provide essential aid, including lodging, financial assistance, and vital relief supplies to all those affected by the wildfires.
