Kash Pannu

Leduc Bottle Depot

Bio:

Hi everyone, my name is Kash Pannu and I hope to have reached out and got to know as many of you as I could in the past six years, as an ABDA Director or earlier as a fellow Depot operator. I have been in the industry since the age of 13, with 21 long, hard, dedicated years put into this industry. My family and I started in a Rural depot in St. Paul, later obtaining experience in all 3 Depot categories:

1) St. Paul Bottle Depot 2003-2020 RURAL

2) Spruce Grove Bottle Depot 2015-2024 URBAN

3) Manning Bottle Depot (Edmonton) 2020-Present METRO

4) Leduc Bottle Depot 2024-present URBAN

I am a “hands-on”, honest, hardworking Depot Operator and Director. In the past six years I have been managing and working at my depots while attending every board meeting, regional meeting and also visiting some of you at your depots. I try my best to help my fellow operators, such as yourselves, through tasks and concerns of your own. It has been a pleasure being on the board for these past four years and with your support I would love to serve you all again for another two.

The vibe in the Depot industry is changing, the ABDA is growing and becoming more important for all of us to have as a united voice. My experience on the Board has showed me the importance of how our Association moves to shape the future. I have great relations with MLAs, MPs and other member of government, and with my passion in the industry and my seat on the Board, I will do what ever it takes for the betterment of our depots and our investments.

I have seen our association get stronger, have a more superior voice, as well as our association has started to be more forward looking. We have become a more transparent association with our members and are continuing to do so. Two years have gone by fast and I believe having me on the Board another two will be an advantage for all of us Bottle Depot Operators. I still have a lot to share with all of you.

I am an Earth Physicist but I am a Bottle Depot Operator first and I have continued to devote my career to this industry and will continue to support and serve all ABDA members.
