Calculating Fees

When the ABCRC receives a shipment of containers from you, it provides you with a Depot Statement that includes deposit values, Handling Commission rates, GST (on Handling Commissions), Value Added Fees (not applicable to all Depots), BCMB fees, ABDA membership fees, and, if applicable, POR fees. The per-container rate applied to establish the fees is the same, regardless of material stream. The fees are calculated on a per-bag basis, and then consolidated into your Depot statement.

For this reason, you may find that calculating the rates on the total number of units on a load might not add up to the exact amount you may expect. However, if the rates are applied to each bag individually and then added up, you will find that they match the statement.
