Plus II Bottle Depot (Grande Prairie) - April 2018

This month’s winner proves that Depots are essential to the community. Plus II Bottle Depot in Grande Prairie had an amazing turnout and the winner, April Parker won this month’s Applaud A Depot.  We surprised April Parker, donated her $100 gift card; which was matched by Plus I and Plus II Bottle Depots to her organization Grande Prairie Secret Angels.

April mentioned the importance of the Bottle Depot to produce the funds needed to accomplish her mandate, to help families at risk and lower income in need. She mentioned the other non-profit organizations she works with to support each other through the Bottle Depot to fund their efforts.

Present for the event was MLA Wayne Drisdale representing Grande Prairie-Wapiti, who presented the Depot with a recognition plaque for winning. He mentioned the importance of the Depot in the community and the how the Applaud A Depot program as an excellent way to interact with customers and provide positive comments for service. Also present from Signature Support Society who run the Bottle Depots in Grande Prairie are Chris Turnmire board chair for Signature Support Services Society, Ryan Mysko, Chair of Finance and Business Development Committee for Signature Support Society and Darrin Stubs Executive Director for Signature.
